My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Larson is a 6lb Maltipoo who is about 5yrs old. He was a breeder release when they no longer had a need for him. He is very quiet, and subdued. He loves to cuddle, but doesnt demand it. He does love to be pet and receive attention when given. We do not think he had much physical attention while in the care of the breeder, because he doesn't seek out affection. He doesnt' seem to be used to being held, but seems to enjoy it once in your arms. He is co-existing in a foster home with other dogs, but has not engaged in playtime with them yet. He is also in a home with young children and can be a tad scared of fast movements, but is not nippy and allows the kids to pet and cuddle with him! He will need time to come out of his shell to understand what a loving family is all about - but I think he will make someone very happy!
Larson has been seen by a vet and deamed healthy to his/her knowledge and is current on all vaccines, has been microchipped and altered. An adoption application is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue.
