My name is Ursula!

Lakeland Terrier Dog for adoption in Chicago, Illinois - Ursula

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Ursula's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Ursula's Story...
Big fan of: Kongs and Nylabones, riding in the car, playing with other dogs, long walks, fetch, cuddling and getting belly rubs.

Not a fan of: Ursula is fearful of children, particularly male children. She would like to be placed into a home where she will not have to interact with them ever.

A little more… Ursula is clever and sweet. She is house trained and crate trained. This girl picks up on things quickly and would love an owner to further her education. Like many Labrador Retrievers, Ursula is an active dog who loves to get out and explore her surroundings. She is a great choice for someone who loves to workout and get outdoors. Ursula currently weighs around 55 pounds.

Dream home: Ursula would do best in a home with experienced adults who have an interest in training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ursula, a Chicago Lakeland Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lakeland Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Lakeland Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lakeland Terrier breeders who help with Lakeland Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
