Clara's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Clara's Story...
Clara didn't exactly have a great start to life--she wasn't properly cared for and was allowed to have three litters of kittens before she was rescued. However those days are over and she is now a diva and has forgotten about her past. She is sweet with a touch of sassiness. Clara loves to play and she has a very sweet meow when she wants something. She gets along with other cats, but she does like to be the boss. Clara is special needs as she is FIV+. She is very healthy however and just needs a place where she can relax and shine like the star she is. To learn more about Clara and speak with her foster mom, please email info@FORrescue.net. Clara is fostered in Huntsville, AL. You may also complete the cat application at www.FORrescue.net to get the ball rolling! We'd love to talk with you about Clara and arrange for you to meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clara, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
