Lola's Story...
AVAILABLE: Sept 13, 2014

Lola is a 5 month old female Spaniel mix (possibly some Border Collie mixed in); she currently weighs 33 pounds.

This super sweet girl loves to run and play with her foster brothers. She loves people of all ages, dogs of all sizes. She does really well with children. She hasn't been around any cats, so we are unsure how she would do with them. She is crate and house trained; letting you know she has to go out by scratching near the door.

Lola is looking for a home where she can be with her human family and also have a secure fenced yard big enough to allow her room to run and play. She would prefer to be in a home with other dogs and children to play with.

Lola is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for rabies, parvo/distemper and bordetella. She is on flea and heartworm prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lola, a Weatherford Cattle Dog/Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Cocker Spaniel for sale in Weatherford, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Weatherford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Weatherford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Weatherford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Weatherford paves the way for another one to be saved.
