Pumpkin's Story...
We look like Fall: pumpkins, trees regally displaying their colors, and zinnias cheerfully popping up to say “Hi.” The calico girls are truly striking and the fluffy orange and white babies are reminiscent of the cutest Beanie Babies ever!
Mystic and her siblings (Ginny, Autumn, Pumpkin, Cheeto and Mac-for Mac & Cheese of course) were "Free to a Good Home" on a local web site. We persuaded the owner of the mother to release the kittens to our care and we funded the spay of "Momma" making these angels truly one-of-a kind!
The kittens are approximately 8-9 weeks of age (09/07/14). They are FELV negative, dewormed, and have their first vaccines. Their adoption fee is $75 if you present a pre-paid spay/neuter and rabies receipt from your vet. Our adoption fee includes first vaccines, microchip and registration.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pumpkin, a Plattsmouth Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Plattsmouth, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Plattsmouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plattsmouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plattsmouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plattsmouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
