Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Taz is like a little teddy bear come to life. He is an amazing little dog that has been well socialized, and who is affectionate and devoted to his people. He is great with strangers as well and makes friends easily with everyone. He is fine with other pets including cats and is relaxed and comfortable wherever he goes. He will not only make a great family pet but he would be a great therapy dog or a dog that you could take to work with you. Taz is approximately 2 - 3 years old and currently weighs approximately 10 lbs.
Here is what his foster family had to say:
Taz is an adorable little guy, he makes the cutest little happy noises and loves his people to bits! He occasionally likes to play but spends the majority of his time cuddling and hanging out with his people. Taz does not typically run up to greet new people but after a few moments he will typically approach new people to say hello. Once you are one of Taz's people he excitedly greets you every time he sees you. Taz is very respectful of other dogs and prefers the company of other respectful dogs. He sees the cats as friends and typically tries to clean their ears and play nicely with them.
Taz is very well behaved in the house and does not get into mischief when left alone. He does not like being crated and in reality there is no reason to crate him as he can be left alone in the home without issue. He knows his basic commands such as sit, come and down and easily picks up on what you are wanting him to do. He walks perfectly on leash. Taz loves car rides. He enjoys sticking his head out the window to feel the breeze, sleeping on the back seat or riding on the passengers lap. He is just happy to be out and part of the action.
As long as he is with you, Taz is very relaxed and calm but when left in another room or crated in the house, he does stress and will bark. He really needs someone that is home more often than not and that wants a companion and a new member of the family. He is house trained and will let you know when he wants to go out but still has the occasional marking. He was just recently neutered so that hopefully will stop this.
Taz takes everything in stride and his favourite thing to do is be with his people. He loves soaking up attention and being cuddled.
Taz is a little teddy bear that likes sleeping in your arms like a baby and going where ever his people go. He is happiest hanging with his people and enjoys the company of respectful dogs and cats alike. He is very well mannered and a real charmer. He would do best in a family with respectful children or as a single's companion. He is happy to tag along for whatever and would prefer to spend most of his time with his people.
If you think Taz would be a good choice for your situation, please submit an application for consideration.
