Cabria's Story...
Cabria found herself in a high intake shelter that will euthanize healthy companion animals for space. she is a darling girl, crate trained and housebroke, someone has obviously worked with this child previously because she knew exactly what a crate was. well behaved and well mannered this little bundle of love and cuteness is just another amazing kid thrown away like trash in the southern shelter system. We know there is a family out there that would love to have this great kid in their lives. she is so personable and talks to you, I fell in love instantly with this lovely girl. If you would like to make this little pipsqueak aka Pippy a member of your family, please apply with this rescue by copying and pasting the link below.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cabria, a Portland German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
