German Wirehaired Pointer Mix Dog for adoption in Vancouver, British Columbia - McGee - Courtesy Post

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

McGee - Courtesy Post's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and not good with cats.

McGee - Courtesy Post's Story...
McGee is a young guy, a handsome GWP, recently neutered.

He is quite tall, lean and leggy, has tons of energy and does not like to be cooped up.

He needs some polishing and work on his manners but he will turn into a charming, knowledgeable gentleman, a veritable George Clooney of the dog world, if given the right training, attention and love.

McGee will be going to a foster home on Vancouver Island for evaluation so more information will be provided later. Probably should not live with cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McGee - Courtesy Post, a Vancouver German Wirehaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Wirehaired Pointer for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a German Wirehaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Wirehaired Pointer breeders who help with German Wirehaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
