Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet girl is Cozette, better known as Cozy. She is about 4 years old, is microchipped, spayed and up-to-date on her shots. Cozy needs a special kind of home. She needs a devoted individual or couple that are willing to work through some of her quirks. Cozy was taken into a shelter as a stray, and the shelter personnel saw she wasn't thriving in that environment. They contacted our rescue to help her because they thought she would be more comfortable in a home. Cozy needs to go to a quiet home without children and preferably not a lot of visitors coming and going. We don't know what happened in Cozy's past, but she is very skittish and frightened by loud noises and sudden movements. She has shown signs of improvement since being in a home, but still has a long way to go. She could still use some training when it comes to potty manners and being crated. She does well once she is in a crate, but isn't a big fan of going in right away. Cozy does well around other calm dogs, but she doesn't seem to be interested in playing. She has also been around cats and done fine with them. If you are interested in helping Cozy find the life she deserves, please feel free to email us (odtr01@gmail.com)with any questions or to receive an adoption application.
