My story

OREO IS IN NEW ENGLAND AND HE WOULD LOVE TO MEET YOU!!!!
Oreo is a very happy boy with a well rounded personality. He loves to be active. He plays fetch and loves to swim. He has enjoyed playing with an eleven year old while in foster care. He gets along with all dogs and begs each one to play with him. (He is with two senior dogs) If there are no takers he amuses himself by taking a dip in the pond or exploring different places in the yard.
There are no cats in his foster home so it is unknown how he feels about them. He is very obedient and listens to voice command very well in a close distance. Sometimes he feels a little more independent when far away but he has been improving over time. He is use to a fenced yard and respects the fence.
Oreo very openly shows that he is use to being a loyal and loving companion. His previous owner passed away and Oreo found himself at a high kill shelter. Oreo had to make a lot of adjustments while being sheltered. Once he was rescued and placed in foster he was on the shy side and confused as to what his routine would be. He was successfully treated and cured of heartworms so he's all ready to go now! It didn't take long for him to settle in and open up his heart!
Oreo is crate trained and housebroken. He sleeps through the night in a large crate supplied with his favorite Nyla Bone.
Oreo behaves in the house and will sit very near to you to enjoy being loved on. He loves being in the outdoors where he can run and play.
