Maurice's Story...
This Maurice, a really relaxed and awesome boy. He would be great in any new home and is about one year old (11.5 months to be exact as of 4/14/13) and is the brother of Brigitte, Phillipe and Madelaine. Maurice is extremely relaxed and calm and would do great in any home. He loves his friend Pretzel as you can see in the photos so would do well in a home with another cat or on his own. To meet Maurice, contact us today or stop by Petco on 92nd and Broadway in Manhattan from 2-6pm on Saturdays.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maurice, a New York Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in New York, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
