Matilda's Story...
Matilda and her 6 puppies were rescued in September 2014 from a Craigslist ad. They came from a backyard breeding/dog fighting ring. Matilda was severely malnourished; her ears were butchered off, she has scarring, and was used as a breeding machine for most of her life. We think that she is about 4-5 years old. Despite her past abuse and horrendous circumstances she is the sweetest thing! She is a true breed ambassador. Matilda and her puppies are now all healthy and recovering. They will all be available for adoption in January. If you are interested in Matilda or one of her puppies please contact us and we can begin the pre-screening for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Matilda, a Los Angeles American Staffordshire Terrier/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Rottweiler for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Rottweiler breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
