Daisy's Story...
Name: Daisy
Color: Grey and Tan Tabby
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Gender: Female
Age: 4 Years
Daisy is a sweet girl looking for a quiet, loving, forever home.
Big fan of: Daisy can be pretty bashful at first but with some encouragement, she will come out of hiding and absolutely adores being petted. Daisy will enjoy spending her days lounging on the couch with you, high up in a cat tree, or in a window watching the world go by. Daisy would appreciate some fun toys for when she is feeling playful and a tall cat tree she can stretch and scratch on.
Dream Home: Daisy will make a lovely lap cat for an adult or older, mellow teens. She would rather not live with young or boisterous children as it can be overwhelming for her. Daisy would do well in a home with a confident, easy going male cat to keep her company, and she could potentially adjust to a cat-savvy dog that won't be too interested in her or try to chase her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
