Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Princess: Loosing her family due to allergies was not how Princess thought she would spending the holidays this year but with her terrific personality and affectionate temperament, we have high hopes this this young girl will bounce her way back into another family very soon.
She has not been a fan of spending so much time alone in her kennel so we are sure that she gets plenty of buddy walks with her canine friends at the shelter and time in the yard and shhhhhh, she also gets special training room privileges where she is allowed to snooze and nap in peace and quiet after her walks so she can get away from the loud stressful kennels.
She has a very loving side to her that comes out once she is relaxed and then decides it is time to curl up on your lap in next to you, clearly craving human contact so she may be a dog that cuddles up for naps and may even try and sneak into bed with you at night if you let her!
She is very dog friendly and can be high energy when she plays so any tolerant dog would make a great sis/bro for her since we know she enjoys the company of dogs very much. She was an only dog in her previous home and also did just fine with just her humans to keep her company - she is not picky.
Princess did very nicely on her evaluation and is estimated to be just one year old so had some rambunctious moments when playing around with toys and being silly so we want her to be with kids that have dog experience and would help to practice her commands and training which she is doing great with so far. Many volunteers have connected deeply with Princess and report that after a nice brisk walk, she loves to find a quiet spot and just decompress, leaning in for affection the whole time.
She has beautiful fluffy fur that is soft and thick so her breed make-up must be very interesting……A gorgeous mixy-mixy that we think makes her extra special! She is young, friendly……and ready for someone to get to know her and give her a forever home.
