My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Once you meet Cash you will know he's priceless. This 3 year old Puggle was left by neighbors who moved. He was over-weight and the people who took him in put him on a strict diet of grain free food and small amounts of canned food to bring his weight down. Cash likes to snuggle during his down time and wants to be touching you whenever he can. He will bolt if doors are left ajar or if off leash. He has been with other dogs and is friendly with them, but would probably do best as an only dog because he marks the house when other dogs are present. Cash has not been with small children, but has had exposure to cats and did well. This boy is a sweet little lover and would do well with a fenced yard and family with older children. Photographer says he was great getting his photo taken and thinks he's an awesome dog! Check in for Cash!

On September 18, 2014, Cash was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison.

If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at www.friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.

Please contact Friendship at 440-322-4321 if you decide not to adopt this prison dog so they can take your name off the list.
