If you adopt me, please make sure it will be for my entire life. I am shy at first but give me a little time and I will be using you as a springboard to show my affection. Like many large dogs who are abandoned in their adolescence, no one ever took the time to show me the ABC’s of good doggy behaviour. My family gave me up because the two older dogs in the home could not handle my puppy exuberance. Even though I weigh 65 lbs., I am only seven months old. I have Great Dane and Shepherd in my mix, so you can expect to see me grow a lot more. I am eager and ready to learn how to be a well-behaved dog; I know that my future depends on it. Obedience training classes should definitely be in the stars for me and being that I am a little timid; it will also boost my confidence and develop a bond of trust between my new human and myself. I need a family who can meet my exercise needs – I need daily walks and runs, in all kinds of weather. Because I am still young, I would best suit a home where I am not alone the entire day or if you must go to work, a dog walker would be recommended. Because of my size and exuberance, a home without very young children would best suit me. I dream of a life as a family dog – a place where I will eat good food, sleep on a comfy bed, and play a lot.
