Tyra is a female Yorkie/Silky Terrier mix only 1 year in age. She is small, weighing just a little over 8 pounds full grown. Tyra has silky, soft, shiny waves of gray and silver that is easy to brush out and maintain. Her coat is low/non-shedding. Tyra is a wonderful snuggle bug. She loves to be close to her people and will either cuddle in your lap, or sit beside you in your chair while you work or watch TV. She is polite and sweet as can be. She especially likes to be stroked on the head. Tyra is all girl, very feminine, gentle and tender hearted. She has a pure innocence about her that you can't help but fall in love with. Tyra is all love, all the time. She is a quiet little thing who will pitter patter around the house after you, keeping you company. She is curious about other dogs and will gently make friends with smaller, more mellow doggies. Tyra will thrive in a home where she is pampered and kept safe. She is an easy keeper and good inside the house. She is so affectionate and will be a delightful, faithful little companion. Tyra is learning how to walk on leash and rides quietly in the car. She loves to be carried, especially when out in public, but is getting braver. Because she is so small, noisy crowds or chaotic environments tend to scare her. Tyra is good with children (they need to be gentle) and great with cats. She is very people oriented and if given the choice she would choose the person over another dog every time. Tyra is a healthy girl and good with her potty training. She was brought in stray to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where we rescued her. She is ready for her new loving forever home today!
Tyra’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Tyra is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Vicki and is ready for her forever home.
