This is Minna, momma to the 4 new puppies we brought in . . . . and of course, we brought momma in too! These wonderful dogs were save from a garbage dump in eastern washington. You can imagine how frightening it was for the puppies and their mom. All just trying to stay alive, and Minna doing her very best to protect them and feed them. (The name Minna means determined protector, a perfect name for her). She is one amazing dog . . . . . she raised those little puppies all on her own. To be this successful, Minna had to be very cautious about everything . . . . people, other animals . . . just think about it. She is safe now, but she is still very worried and a little bit afraid. She doesn't appear to have a mean bone in her body, but she hasn't been able to feel safe in a very long time. She did a great job raising her puppies, though, as they are wonderful dogs and are making wonderful progress! Good genes and good upbringing. If you can find it in your heart to foster or adopt Minna, that would be wonderful. She will take some loving patience, but she sure has earned it. The adoption fee for Minna is $500.00..........................This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care, and adoption of our dogs.
