My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION SOON**
For a whole 8 weeks I lived with my mum and litter mates on the streets of a Quebec Northern Reservation
On the 8th week of my life some very kind volunteers and many donators helped to save me and my mom and my sister River – they flew us to PET airport over 1000 km from those cold, dirty and lonely streets.
It was a very big trip for us but we handled it and were very happy to start out into this new life, we have been separated from our mummy Mila (she too is still looking for her forever home)
I am a Nordic pup and a little different from normal pups you may meet. For the first 8 weeks of my life contact with humans was very limited and I learned to only listen to my mum for survival. While I am learning fast to trust my new humans in foster care I am still a baby so I need patient and loving forever family.
My foster family is teaching me how to do my business outside and while I will do it when I am outside I still have not figured out how to ask for the door to let our foster family know that I gotta gooooo nooowwww so yup I am not house broken and do have accidents in the home!
If you are looking for that “no-shedding” type of dog then please click next! I am a husky mix so I do shed and will blow my coat with the season changes. A lot can be done to reduce the amount of fur in your home but you will have to actively be prepared to groom me … and can never complain in the future because I told ya so – I am a shedder
My foster home is awesome because I am living with other doggies and kitties so that I can learn to be friendly with all. I also live with children, not too young seeing how I am just a baby myself but both are over 10 years of age. I get to meet men and women of all ages so that I can gain experience, confidence and learn to be friendly with everyone.

My name is Shelby and I am happy and playful in the home but nervous and shy in new places! I come when you call and will do a little happy dance for you. I already know how to sit! & I lovvvvvvvve my liver treats! We guess that I was born somewhere around the week of June 23rd so when I reach 3 months of age at the end of September and have had my 3rd vaccination I will be ready to find my forever family.
I am still a baby and my interactions with the outside world are being limited until my immune system can be built up and my vaccinations are done. But I am learning to walk on the leash now and follow my foster bro wherever he goes!
To bring me home there will be adoption fee and a sterilization deposit fee. The adoption fee covers all my vetting: vaccinations including rabies, deworming, flea treatment, spay and micro chip at Animal 911 vet in Roxboro; my new family will have to make the remaining visits. The sterilization deposit will be returned on the day that I get spayed at Animal 911. CAA Rescue is asking for this sterilization deposit to protect me and my future, to ensure we are happy, safe and healthy for all times with no puppies of our own one day. So if you have puppy & husky training knowledge and would like to meet me in hopes of taking me home forever when I am ready to make the next big step in my life please email CAARescue@gmail.com and ask them for an application
