Chachi's Story...
Chachi was pulled from a shelter in rural Missouri. The story is that he was the pet of an older lady who realized that a puppy was too active a pet for her. She turned him into a shelter and went in search of a more docile companion. Too bad. She gave up a little treasure. Having been born on January 27, 2014, Chachi is 8 months old and pretty darned wonderful. He is a red and white smooth coat chihuahua and weighs 8 pounds. He is playful and gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home. When we have company in the house, he just can't imagine that they wouldn't want to hold him so gives everyone that opportunity! Chachi is neutered, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on hw/flea preventive is microchipped and had some retained baby teeth pulled. His adoption fee, with all of this vet work done is $300.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chachi, a House Springs Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
