Addie Mae's Story...
Hi there, I'm Addie Mae. I am a sweet and lovable 12 week old lab mix. I was rescued from a near deadly situation. You see I was being taken into a rural shelter here in Tennessee when a few ladies spotted me. Going into a shelter as a young puppy can spell disaster - so many puppies get sick in the shelter and never make it out. I am a lucky one, I never had to know what that is like.

I love living in a foster home. I have other dogs to play with here, oh and one of my favorite things - my foster kids. They are in school during the day, but when they come home - I am just so happy. One of the kids plays baseball and I love running around when he practices....they say I'd make a great fielder.

It is wonderful here and my foster family adores me, but I really do want a forever home. I want my forever family and to know that I belong somewhere, forever. Are you my forever family?

My adoption fee is $250 and includes all my vaccinations and microchip. If you are interested in more information on me, please email Miss Allison alicat_ant@yahoo.com for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Addie Mae, a Nashville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
