Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This delightful little treat is Triscuit, a beautiful brindle puppy, currently weighing in at about 18 pounds. Triscuit and her siblings came to us along with their mom Hazel, who is a 55 pound Hound mix. From her looks, we’re guessing her dad was a terrier. But looks can be deceiving: Triscuit is a happy-go-lucky sweetheart of a gal, who is very well socialized, smart, eager to please, and ready to go home to be part of your family. Unlike most pups her age, she is not mouthy and destructive-- she doesn’t even destroy her chew toys!
Because we do not know what size, weight, shape, breed or appearance Triscuit will grow into as an adult, only those willing to take pot luck need apply. She is a typical young puppy, full of puppy sweetness and puppy energy. Because she is still young, she should not be left alone for long hours and will need a stay-at-home person to implement her housebreaking, socialization and general obedience. She will be ready for puppy school right after adoption.
You can meet Triscuit at Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750). Although you may want to adopt her on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.
Triscuit's estimated date of birth is 7-28-14 and her adoption fee of $350 includes: vet exam, distemper combo and bordetella vaccinations, deworming, flea and tick preventative, microchip and spay.
