PUPPY ZIGGY's Story...
My name is Ziggy and I am a great looking 7 month old Great Pyrenees male pup who weighs 30 pounds and will maybe top out at about 60 pounds when fully grown. They say that maybe I have some Border Collie somewhere in my family too! I am in a foster home with my brother right now and we have the best time playing in the dog yard. I have a relaxed and friendly temperament and I dream of having a family of my own one day soon before I get too big. I am a little shy at first when I meet new people but I quickly warm up and they tell me that is part of the Great Pyrenees temperament; a little cautious of new things at first. My foster mom is being so good to teach me things in life like how to walk on a leash, how to sit for my dinner, how to listen to what she tells me to do. She really loves dogs and says that I am a really terrific puppy and she promised to get me the perfect family someday soon. Could that be you? HHS. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Why Adoption is a Great Option

PUPPY ZIGGY, a Salem Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Salem, or seeking a Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
