Here's what the humans have to say about me:
in Redding CA
apply at
www.sadt.info
Lola is 2 yrs old 50 pounds cute as can be a unique colored coat of fawn/silver markings
she would be great with an older child or a few great kind children over 8 years
the more people the better for her as it seems
She most likely lived with a large family in her rev. life
She's good with other dogs her size though she needs right intro as she gets over excited around other dogs in her foster home where it's calm she's ok
She would love to be the princess in the home as only pet
Lola ADORES all people and with training could become a great therapy dog going to visit nursing homes etc
Look at those cute eyes reaching into her gentle soul
She's med energy goes in spurts running like a bunny around the yard but most of all loves being with her people hanging out
going for a walk a day or two as she loves nature hikes, some yard time but she's not interested in any toys or playing just being loved focused on you her person her family but not to the point of being needy
but when out and about she can get lots with all the smells etc so she's not very focused on her person most likely over time she will
looking for a dog experienced calm family that does not live a super busy on the go live but loves to hang out at home
someone that had the Bullie breed before and can easily physically handle one
Lola is a strong girl though she is walking very good by now on her nopull harness not for the feeble person we will require continued obedience training once in her new home
she has no problems being out and about we are socializing her a few times a week with walks and once a week going to a petstore which is very exciting for her, she loves walking the river trail too
please be a home owner over the age of 25 years with a fenced yard breed or dog experience
from foster mom below
once fully approved applicant can chat in detail with foster
Lola is a sweetheart with lots of love to give. She loves to lay with her head in your lap, getting tummy rubs. She enjoys meeting people, and has plenty of love and kisses for everyone. She loves a daily walk and has made great improvements on leash. She knows her sit command and comes when called. I haven't observed any bad habits, such as chewing or digging. She seems to be house trained as she hasn't had any accidents inside. She does know how to use a doggy door. She is so happy for any attention she gets, and is eager to please. She would make a great best friend, always there for you. She is ready for a family to call her own.
Lola is into people not other animals she rather would spend her time with you or some kids getting belly rubs then being with other dogs that is another reason she will make a super therapy dog she is focused on people
She was dog tested at shelter and temp foster she was fine with them but of no interest to her she met a few mellow large male dogs too and in foster home she has met the dogs but only through her crate so far as one of the dogs is a wild pup still
She's not a dog park dog and gets very excited walking near other dogs, we're working on that it's not in an aggressive way but overstimulated as she's still fairly new to her life change
We would not adopt her to anyone with small dogs as she has not been tested around small dogs
A less stimulus home without other animals and lots of people loving on her would be ideal also breed experience or large dog experience a strong handler willing to continue her training she has started with us
Lola would be fine hanging out at home besides getting her belly rubbed a walk a day some training lots of one on one
Lola can be lively or mellow a lot will depend on you and your environment but we are looking for a more quiet calm environment
Lola is fostered with a couple in a quiet neihborhood in Redding area she gets a couple walks a day training lots of love
We think she may have been raised as the only dog but with many kids as she loves the kids that is older kids but she has been around a 2 yr old and was fine with supervision of course
One time a whole class of 10 yr olds seen her and wanted to pet her she soaked it all up was calm and happy
If you feel you could be a great match for this beauty please read adoption process and apply
we are looking for stable home owners over the age of 25 years
