Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BUDDY is a 2 year old black neutered male Lab who weighs 83 pounds. He's a big solid dog who is friendly, energetic, loves to play and get attention. He likes to retrieve, is good at it and brings back the toy as soon as it lands. Enjoys being out playing with other dogs. He needs a yard to play in to get rid of his energy. He will make a wonderful addition to a family that is looking for an young energetic lab for their family. He's approved for kids aged 10+.
Update (10/9): Buddy is the epitome of a happy, bouncy lab. Buddy needs to go to an active family who will exercise him daily. If the family works during the day he would do best with several days at doggie daycare (He ADORES other dogs) and the other days with a dog walker to get out some of his energy. Buddy has not been given the training he needs but is a very smart boy. After only 2 jogs, Buddy is learning to run on the right side and to not chase squirrels while on a run.
Buddy must use an Easy Walk harness as he is very strong. Buddy loves hanging with other canines. He has met multiple dogs and has been happy and bouncy with all of them. However, calm, older dogs might be annoyed with Buddy’s exuberance. Even though Buddy is active, he will calm right down with some petting and attention. Buddy has not had any accidents in the house. When coaxed with treats Buddy gets right in his crate and sleeps all night long and waits for me to come let him out. This SUPER sweet pup would make a great addition to any active family who promises to exercise him and get him the training he needs.
This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has between 50 ~ 80 dogs available for adoption.
