Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wanted: Fun, active, loving home who will enjoy my puppy antics (as opposed to being driven crazy by them!) My name is Brody, and I'm a 9 month old Lab/Plott Hound mix who weighs about 42lbs. I'm on Long Island, and I need a FOREVER HOME!!! I'm super friendly and affectionate, not to mention handsome, if I do say so myself.
I'm really the epitome of the word puppy....Now let me translate that into dog language, "I'm cute, friendly, happy, bouncy, and lively!" I'm going to make an amazing family dog in an active home where I will receive the exercise and attention I need. (We're talking hiking, walking, playing, ball catching, snuggling....the whole nine yards!) My foster mom says I am incredibly sweet, and I'm always dying to play with my furry foster siblings.
What I'm trying to say is I'd love a home where a furry friend (or two) will be excited to join me in the fun. It would be best if my furry sibling has good manners so I can learn the ropes of perfect puppy behavior!
Don't let my puppish-ness scare you off - I definitely like to snuggle up with my people when I am pooped (and I DO get pooped once someone has played with me!) and I'm most certainly a love bug. I'm 95% HOUSEBROKEN (the last 5% shouldn't take very long!) I'm a kid lover, especially the fun kind who will run around with me in the backyard (or through the house on a rainy day!) My enthusiasm may knock down very little ones, so sure footed, slightly older children would be great. If you're looking for a great cat chaser, I'm your pup! If your cats enjoy lounging as opposed to running, I'm probably not the best bet for your home. I'm also a big fan of toys - squeaky toys, chewy toys, crunchy toys - doesn't matter, but a home with a bunch of playthings would definitely keep me busy.
