Venus's Story...
Meet Venus and Mars of the Planet Litter. Mom Celeste found herself in a shelter, alone and very pregnant. Thankfully this shelter knew who to call and within 48 hours mom delivered her litter via an emergency C section. Two of these precious babies are available for adoption thru Recycled Best Friends. 11 weeks and around 7-8 lbs these girls have been foster raised since birth. Around kids, dogs, cats and well loved. They are the reason beagles are ranked number 3 in the AKC best family dog listings.

We are seeking separate homes as siblings placed together can have issues. Another dog would be great. Fenced yard a plus. No tiny kids please as these are small babies.

Their adoption fee covers: spay, vaccinations to age, worm meds, flea/hw monthly meds, c section for mom, 10 weeks foster care, microchip, health certificate to travel and transport north with all the paperwork necessary. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Venus, a Staunton Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Beagle puppy from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
