Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Daphne! My foster parents say I am just as cute as a button! I am a petite puppy at 10 months old and I weigh about 42 pounds. The vet said he didn't think I would get much larger. Don't let my size fool you though. I have as much love in my heart as a dog twice my size! I am very energetic and would love to have a very active family, preferably one that would take me on long walks or runs on a regular basis. I really could use a little training since I have a couple of habits that my foster parents are working on with me on. Not always, but sometimes when I get excited I jump up and try to lick your face. I also like to stand up and lean on the counter when my foster mom makes my dinner. She tells me I should not do that, but I haven't stolen any food. I just like to watch. I've had a couple of accidents in the house, but now that I have the doggy door down I have done so much better. I am crate trained and when you tell me it is time to go to bed, I run in and go to sleep. I sleep all night long and my foster dad usually has to wake me up to feed me breakfast. I don't chew shoes, furniture anything like that. I love my toys and dog chews the most! I'm past that puppy stuff! I don't know how I would get along with kitties since my foster parents don't have any. I get along great with other dogs and would do well with or without them. It would make me very happy though if I did not have to stay home alone all day. I think I'm still too young and I would be sad to be home alone all day. Older children would be fine since I still have my habit of jumping, plus when I get excited I like to run really fast and play and I might knock a baby down by accident. I love snuggling with my foster mom at the end of the day or laying at her feet while she sleeps on the chair. Did I mention that my foster parents have not ever heard me bark? I think I have it in me but in general, I'm a quiet, playful girl!
