Here's what the humans have to say about me:
~RILEY~ Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix
Central Ohio Dog Rescue League
http://www.codrl.org/
Our former Prince Riley went to live in another Kingdom, but, he is still looking for his furever Kingdom, let's help him find it!
Riley is a beautiful boy approximately a year old. He loves to play and have fun and is a superior snuggler. He is still mastering leash manners but has potty training down to a science. It took Riley about 2 minutes to figure out how to use the doggie door to go outside, showing off his intelligent side. Riley knows how to sit and he knows how to wait but he is still working on other skills. Riley would greatly benefit from puppy classes as he learns to trust the other end of the leash. Riley likes to jump the doggie gate to get to where the humans are but has no desire to jump it for anything else yet, for this reason Riley would be best in a home with a secure fence. Riley is a higher energy dog and will benefit from an active family that includes him often. Riley's intelligence and activity levels are consistent with Catahoula breed norms.
Riley is GREAT with kids of all ages and dogs of all sizes. The cat test was not definitive but it is probably best that his new home have no feline companions. He isn't a fan of being alone so a canine brother or sister would be ideal for this spunky guy. When Riley is happy it shines from his big golden eyes and it is readily visible in the smile he wears on his face. Do you have room in your home and heart for Riley? If so, please apply online at www.codrl.org. Riley's adoption fee is $150
