Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet terrific Mr. Jazz! He’s fun and friendly, energetic and loveable! All Border collie and Labrador, and the best of both breeds! Jazz is nearly one year old and was rescued out of high kill Gordon County in the North Georgia Mountains by his foster mom Maria. He’s been to a two week training program (he is an energetic 1 year old!) and passed with flying colors! Now this US Canine graduate is getting the heck out of Georgia and headed for his new life in the great Northwest! Jazz loves company and gets along very well with other dogs and all his people too. He would love a home with another dog or a BC enthusiast who wanted to take him to agility classes! This adorable boy weighs close to 60 lbs. and is super smart and willing and wanting to learn. He’s a real “pleaser”! He knows his basic commands and loves his daily exercise. He will be a great running or walking partner and he’d enjoy tromping up the hiking hill with a pack on his back! Jazz is super playful and very outgoing, fast and athletic like both breeds imply. He will be your best buddy and constant companion and keep everyone in the family entertained. He’s working on his ability to not jump up, but that is his only puppy issue. Jazz walks well on the leash, is crate trained and house trained. He loves the water and can’t wait to get in the car! His foster has too many dogs to have kitties too but we will kitty test him soon at a playdate’s house. Jazz is ready to go anywhere with you, but settles nicely in the house and quietly in the house. He is not a barker or a chewer and is neutered, micro-chipped and completely vaccinated. To adopt this gorgeous boy, please fill out an online application at www.raincityrescue.com (choose foster/adopt tab) or questions, email Pam at raincityrescue@gmail.com. Jazz’s adoption fee is $400 and he’ll be forever grateful to have a place and people of his own!
