CARMEN's Story...
COURTESY POST Carmen is a bobtail Border collie / Rottie mix. She has a lovely disposition and is so grateful for having been saved from a high kill shelter! She is around 3 yrs old, weighs 60 lbs, is spayed, up to date on shots, micro chipped, potty trained, leash trained and is very playful. She knows commands like handshaking, sitting and lying down!! She was obviously loved before she got separated from her family. She is dog friendly and is OK with indoor cats. Carmen is a very undemanding dog, so going for regular walks and riding in the car really makes her happy! She just wants a family to love and please. Call 305 450-2033 or email sleddi98@bellsouth.net if you are interested in scheduling a meet and greet. She is currently being fostered in Miami Beach..

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CARMEN, a Daytona Beach Border Collie/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Rottweiler for sale in Daytona Beach, or seeking a Border Collie/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Daytona Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Daytona Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Daytona Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Rottweiler breeders who help with Border Collie/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Daytona Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
