My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sweet Pea, her name matches her personality. She is a very mellow, happy dog that enjoys the company of people of all ages and other dogs. Poor Sweet Pea was rescued by a Good Samaritan who witnessed Sweet Pea being abused by high school student throwing rocks and bottles at her and a security guard spraying her with water. She did not have any form of identification so was deemed a stray, and the lady who rescued her could not locate an owner. Our rescue was asked to help Sweet Pea find a new adoptive family.

Sweet Pea is about 3 years of age, has been spayed, has a microchip, and her shots are current. She looks like she is Pug/Terrier mix as her hair is light beige with white and black tips on her ears. Sweet Pea was very cooperative with grooming and her photo session. She is a medium size dog, weighing about 30 lbs. Sweet Pea would be an excellent family pet as she likes children of all ages. She is quite smart and knows basic commands. Now all this mellow, well manner dog needs is a family to share her love.

You may meet and apply to adopt Sweet Pea at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, October 4th from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.at the GRAND WOOFSTOCK at Grape Day Park in downtown Escondido, CA.
