My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a 9-month-old spayed female Labrador Retriever/Hound mix. I weigh about 38 pounds. I am the perfect mix of sweet, playful, happy, and silly. I’m exactly what you’d expect from a young lab pup. I get along great with everybody I meet, dogs and people alike! I was dropped off at a local high-kill shelter by my previous owners. No explanation was given. I thought that once you have a dog, it’s for life, but I guess not! It’s fine, though. I’ve written them off just as they did me. I only spent 2 days at the shelter before CageFree pulled me. Phew! Ever since I got here, it’s been tons of fun. I’ve met so many new people and dogs. If I had never mentioned my past to you, you would have never guessed that I was thrown away. It hasn’t phased me one bit. I still believe that there is a bright future for me and I know my friends here at CageFree will find me the perfect family. I’m not going to lie, I’m a pretty active girl. I would make the perfect running partner! I’d really love to find a family that likes to do a lot of outdoor activities. I am definitely not a couch potato. If going for hikes, jogs around the neighborhood, or visiting friends who have dogs, sounds like a great afternoon to you, then I am definitely your gal!!
