Bartholomew's Story...
Name: Bartholomew
Color: Cream and Chocolate Point
Breed: Snowshoe Mix
Gender: Male
Age: 6 Years
Bartholomew is a super sweet, super chunky boy looking for a loving forever home.
Big fan of: When you aren't coaxing Bartholomew to play with some feathery toys, he wants to try and squeeze himself into your lap for some loving. He loves his chin and cheeks rubbed and he has quite the purr! Bartholomew is not the biggest fan of being picked up and carried, mostly because of his large size, but he is certainly a love bug and very affectionate!
Not a fan of: Diets, but Bartholomew is in desperate need of some regular playtime and a diet, as much as loves to lounge around and cuddle, it's really for the best!
Special Features: Bartholomew is proud of his age and thinks you should be too! If you are over 55 years of age, please ask about our “Young at Heart” Adoption Special.
Dream Home: Bartholomew lived with a cat in his previous home and could potentially live another mellow kitty. He could also possibly adjust to a very cat-savvy dog that will know better than to chase after him. He could live with respectful children who will respect that he doesn't want to be held and are content with letting him lay next to them for pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bartholomew, a Bellingham Snowshoe cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Snowshoe for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Snowshoe cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Snowshoe breeders who help with Snowshoe rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
