Hi, I am Roxie! My birthday is December 29, 2003 and I will be 4! I am black and tan, my ears are not cropped but my tail is docked. I am a big girl, about 21 pounds. My foster parents have me on a good diet of exercise with weight control food and green beans. Yum! I am spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on all my shots.
I consider myself a blessed girl. I came into rescue through a high kill shelter. The shelter I was in was the same shelter that Adonis, whose story can be read on the Friends of Penny Min Pin rescue page, was located. My foster Mom says she had just joined Min Pin Rescue when she got a call that I was in desperate need of help. Apparently, I had two days left before I was going to be put to sleep when she agreed to take me in.
And thank goodness she did, because I am full of life with lots of love to give. I make a wonderful snuggling companion! I just loved to be pet and given affection. I love to sit on my foster parents’ laps and cuddle next to them when I sleep. I also enjoy going outside for walks and running and playing.
I am house trained, crate trained and walk pretty good on a leash. I live with one other min pin now and get along well with her very well. She gets a little mad when I try to sneak her food so I have to be watched closely. I get along well with cats, dogs and children and would make a wonderful addition to an energetic, loving family.
I do get a little nervous around people I don’t know. My foster mom thinks that I may have been abused. However, I quickly become affectionate once I know someone just wants to pet me.
I want so much to love someone and receive love in return. Could you be that someone? Are you my soul mate?
