My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HOP is a 1 year old black spayed female Lab who weighs 48 pounds. She and her sister, SKIP, are a part of a bonded pair and MUST be adopted together. Hop & Skip are great pups they are very friendly and love attention, they think getting treats and being petted is better than sliced bread. They stay close to each other to make sure the other one doesn't get lost or get something extra. Skip likes to retrieve, Hop will run to see what Skip is going after, then come back to see if she can mooch a treat. Where one goes the other is right behind her. They are approved for kids aged 10+.

Update (10/8): Hop and Skip sleep snuggled together in my giant sized crate at night and when I'm not home. They seem to really like this arrangement. In just a short time, they are starting to pick up the routine of the house. They're fed in the crate room together and have figured out when I open the gate to let just them in, food is coming. They wait patiently until I bring back their dishes and eat nicely. They are both house trained and wait to do their business outside. Hop and Skip are really sweet girls, who just need a bit of direction and training. Skip knows sit, and both know "off."

Update (10/6): Hop and Skip are adorable and so good!! They ride beautifully in the car. Everyone met the foster's other dogs perfectly and immediately started playing. Run-chase-tackle seems to be a favorite. Skip (green collar) loves to play with toys and will chase and retrieve tennis balls and sometimes bring them back and drop them at the foster's feet. Hop (purple collar) is the more affectionate one. When their foster says on the couch, she immediately wanted to come up and snuggle. Both are fun and love to play with each other and the other dogs. They settle pretty nicely in the house after a good romp outside, and enjoy snoozing around.
