Bea and her son Smokey...both abandoned at the local shelter. As their owner was trying to surrender them, the carrier was dropped and the cats escaped in the parking lot. Smokey was apprehended rather quickly as he was only about 6 weeks , his mother ran as she was scared. Two days later, Momma Bea was trapped. She is a sweetheart though and enjoys the company of her human family. Smokey has grown up in the rescue. He is very active, on-stop energy who loves his toys. Both need a home so that we can help others. The rescue is beyond full and without adoptions there are many that cannot be helped. Bea and Smokey are fully vetted, and do not have to be adopted together.
