Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Simon is an adorable spaniel mix, possibly part Sheltie, who is a little over a year old this April, 2015. He has a mostly black coat with a white patch on his chest and brown and white legs. In fact, except for his feathery tail he could be taken for a miniature Australian Shepherd. He is full grown at 22 lbs.
Simon is good with other dogs. He enjoys coming to adoption events where he greets canine and human visitors or sits sedately crossing his paws. When he gets to know you, he is very affectionate and will cuddle with you. He has been fine with older children. He has had no experience with cats in the home, but so far has been non-reactive to cats he sees outside the window.
Simon is quite clever and full of energy. He is house-trained, but should be watched when inside as he does like to get into things. He loves toys and his dog friends. In his current foster home, he is considered the brains of the outfit. He loves to lead his foster mates on merry chases around the back yard, easily eluding them. Simon will do best in a home where he gets plenty of exercise and has another dog to play with. Be advised, he is capable of jumping any fence under 6 feet.
Simon is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and micro-chipped.
