Alexis's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Alexis's Story...
Alexis and her litter mates were born in mid June, 2014. They all came into our rescue after being abandoned when their family moved. Alexis's mother found a great home quite quickly and the family who adopter her said she is a sweet, gentle, smart happy dog.

It is pretty apparent that Alexis got much of her personality from her mother. Alexis loves to play with my 3 young children and would love a home that had kids for sure. She is also great with other dogs of all sizes and personalities, does well with cats, and is just happy to be with anyone who is around and willing to give her some attention. She is doing very well with house training, crate training and walking on a leash. She LOVES water and will dive in whenever she can. She is very smart, confident and is eager to learn and will certainly become a fantastic companion to some really lucky family.

Alexis is currently fostering in upstate New York. Her foster family travels often between NY and CT and could arrange to meet any qualified adopters.

We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexis, a Williston Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Williston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Williston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williston paves the way for another one to be saved.
