Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penelope is a Border Collie mix and the smallest of her siblings and has a darling stubby tail. Penelope loves to play rough and tumble with her litter mates, but tends to slightly shy away from humans. We suspect this is from the once and twice daily baths she received while in isolation. Penelope and her siblings came to us , from a hoarding situation, at the end of September. They were thought to be about 9 weeks old and were loaded with parasites of every kind. They all tested positive for parvo, but had no symptoms. They were all treated for parvo and parasites and went through a 3 week quarantine/isolation, to ensure their health. All 3 pups are currently residing in a foster home, locally and are thriving! Penelope has received her first set of vaccines and is awaiting her spay, before leaving her foster home. She is great with other dogs, cats and children. Her foster is working to regain her trust in humans. Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a temporary or permanent basis.
NOTE-Fosters must live within 100 mile radius of Georgetown KY.
