My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Joey! He is a 3 year old border collie male. He loves to play and has a lot of energy. He gets along well with dogs and our cat- (he herds her and she's a good sport and plays along). He is housebroken and has excellent manners. He's the kind of dog who wants to go everywhere with you and is not comfortable being left behind. He will bring you his leash when he needs to go out, is leash trained, and has completed obedience training. He has not been around young children so I don't know how he would interact with them.

Joey is such a love- he is a sweet dog and is eager to please. I have struggled with this decision- I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis shortly after adopting Joey and the disease continues to progress and prevents me from living the lifestyle that he needs in order to thrive. His favorite foods are pumpkin, turkey, and he loves sharing dinner at home and long walks on the beach. He is an indoor dog but loves to be outside and run!
