Here's what the humans have to say about me:
He is waiting for his world to change. Did you know that you are his world?
Elmer and four other dirty, scared dogs were dumped - just left in the hope that someone would take responsibility for them. Elmer may have come from a puppy mill or he may have lived with a dog hoarder. He's not talking so we will never know.
Elmer is a precious dog that will be a great pet. He deserves a life with a human that will take care of him and treat him the way most companion dogs are treated. Elmer thinks that being clean and getting regular meals is great but he hopes to do this at your house. Elmer is still rather shy and scared following his dumping experience so he needs help developing his doggie potential but is coming out of his shell and showing more confidence every day. Elmer has got it in him to be your perfect pooch. He just needs help getting there. Meet little Elmer and look into those big brown eyes. Once you fall for Elmer and make that commitment, he will be one step closer to being the dog he was meant to be - yours!
