My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CLARK is a 18 month old yellow neutered male Lab who weighs 63 pounds. He was found by a young guy who was unable to keep him because his landlord told him he couldn't have any dogs, so he surrendered him to the shelter. Clark is a friendly and sweet young lab looking for a family that will take him to obedience training, exercise him, and love him. He knows the command "sit." He's approved for kids aged 10+.

Update (10/8): Clark did great last night. He slept through the night and was very happy to see me this morning. We had a nice walk and then played outside with my son. He went in his crate with his stuffed kong, and he was curious about it. Maybe he has never had one of those before. He's getting along well with the resident Lab.

Update (10/3): Clark is such a sweetie and he is a great dog! He stayed for a few days with a temporary foster and did well even in an apartment environment. He loves to walk up to you and put his head on your hand for pets and little kisses. He is house and crate trained and had no accidents. Because he is young he will benefit from a mid-day potty break. Clark is looking for a loving family to dote on! He likes to play but is calm in the house. He is ok on lead but will benefit from using an easy walk harness. Come and meet this handsome gentleman before its too late!
