My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kenai was rescued from Downy shelter by Love Habitat Rescue on September 16th. He is a very friendly, sweet boy that is good both with children and other dogs. He is around one year of age so he is playful and is working on his basic obedience commands. He does fairly well on a leash and “prances” when he walks. Kenai loves to snuggle and get belly rubs from his adoring fans and seems to like everyone he meets. He brings a smile to everyone’s face that meets him and it is very easy to fall head over heels for this amazing boy. Like all huskies he needs daily exercise and someone that will continue to work with his training as mental stimulation is equally important for this breed as physical exercise. He has a wonderful temperament and will do best with a family that can give him the time and attention he deserves and allow him to spend as much time indoors with his family as he wants. Ideally he would have another dog in his home as he really loves to play and enjoy the company of other dogs. Kenai is as sweet as he is stunning and truly is a special boy that deserves an equally wonderful furever home.
