PUPPY HOWELL's Story...
This handsome Lab mix puppy boy is named Howell. Howell is 5-6 months old and approximately 20 lbs. He is a loving, well mannered pup that gets along well with everyone, even cats! He is neutered, has his microchip and has had all of his vaccinations. Howell is working on basic obedience, such as sit and down. He is crate trained and housetrained. Howell has all his adult teeth, so he doesn't do all that puppy chewing like younger pups. He also doesn't require as many trips outside to do business as younger pups. He loves to play with toys and other dogs. He is also great on leash and off leash, making him a perfect hiking companion. He probably will grow up to be about 45-50 pounds as a mature adult dog. He is looking forward to finding his forever family and beginning the next part of his life. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PUPPY HOWELL, a Salem Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Salem, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
