Pigi's Info...

Pigi's Story...
Pigi has a rather sad story to tell. She was found wounded with huge abcesses on her body. Once her wounds healed she was adopted, but then her new family lost their home and returned her to the shelter. Pigi then developed a severe eye infection. As a result of living in a cage being poked and prodded, she became slightly crabby. Pigi's new foster mom has worked with her for the last several months and she has made quite a turn around. She just needed to get out of the cage. Pigi loves to rub around your ankles and be petted. She is a 6 year old white and gray female cat. Please contact her foster Lynn at 419-346-0710 to adopt her.

Special Notes: If a senior person (50 years old or more) adopts Pigi, her price is half off! - See more at: http://www.plannedpethood.org/cats/available.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pigi, a Toledo Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
