MEET PATTY CAKE (PATRICIA)-
'PATTY CAKE, PATTY CAKE, baker man, bake me a cake as fast as you can.' Do you remember playing this game with the little ones in your life? Well, this little one would love to play with you too. PATTY CAKE (aka Patricia) is one tiny, adorable smooth red haired 8 week old Dachshund. She is very smart and friendly so she may even be able to 'roll it and pat it, mark it with a P to put it in the over for PATTY and me (or you).' PATTY CAKE was found abandoned and longs to be loved by her new forever family, which ideally will be with someone who is retired or works from home all day and no young children. Her puppy shots have been started, but as she is currently too young to be spayed, her new family will need to sign an agreement to have her spayed at 5.5 months old. Are you ready to love and care for a sweet, loving doxie baby for the rest of her life?
OUR CRITERIA (aka The Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember, these are rescues; many were surrendered because of these issues.
WHAT YOU GET IN RETURN WITH YOUR LITTLE RESCUE:
All our dogs are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, Pyrantyl, nails trimmed, and dental when needed. They'll come with a basket of goodies, food, toys and a custom made harness. The adoption fee is $395, sorry no exceptions, as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training.
