My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there. My name I Lilly Blossom. I am around 5 years old and I weigh about 70 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the East Liverpool area and was brought in to the pound.
I am a very, very sweet girl. I am a total lover. I am sweet and cuddly with people. I love to get hugs and give kisses.
I am usually very calm, but sometimes I get energy spurts. I like to run around and play with squeaky toys and play ball.
I love treats and I do an assortment of tricks in exchange for said treats.
I get along well with other dogs and I do occasionally play, but I would prefer a dog that doesn't have an over abundance of energy.
I am housebroken already and I don't seem to be destructive.
I am a "no-brainer" kind of dog and would make a great dog for first time dog owners.
When I first came in to the pound I was covered in fleas, my skin was all red and flaky and I was missing a good bit of my hair. I was obviously just overall being neglected as far as my basic needs. I also had a long skin tag hanging from my vulva which was removed when I was spayed.
Now that I have been here for a while, my skin issues have cleared up and I have regrown almost all of my hair. I am shiny, fat (maybe a little too much) and happy!
If you're looking for a great dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me!

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER OCTOBER 2, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
