My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Charlie, and I'm a 5 1/2 year old Black Lab. I've lived with the same person my whole life and was given up to the shelter because my people got divorced. I need to be the only dog in the daily, but I’m really easy to take care of. I don’t need a lot, and would make a great running/biking/hiking/cuddling partner.

This boy is a charmer! He is a low-medium energy dog, likes his crate, and is very LOW maintenance. He's quiet as a mouse, extremely well-mannered, has no bad habits whatsoever, and rumor has it that he actually likes cats! We don't know that for a fact, but will be testing him soon.

Charlie is not a dog park dog, but he also is not a dog aggressive dog. He just needs to be handled correctly. He would fit in well with a person or people that are just looking for a nice family dog. He’s UTD on everything and is really a happy guy – just look at the pictures - he’s always smiling!

Oh, and by the way, He LOVES baths!!
