Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wilbur is a great, quiet dog who's happy to snuggle up with you on the couch for hours. He's a bit of a couch potato actually and doesn't require much exercise. He's very affectionate with the ones he loves and his favorite thing is diving onto your lap when you sit down.
Wilbur is currently living with a cat that he's curious about but respectful of. We're not sure what happened to Wilbur in the past but he's shown to sometimes be scared of new people, especially older men. Now that we've figured out how to introduce him to people properly though, he's usually great with newcomers.
We're not sure where Wilbur came from, but clearly it was a home where he was taught his manners and basic commands because he knows how to sit, stay, lie down and come. He also knows exactly what you mean if you ask him to go to bed, and he always listens! (He speaks french) He's house trained but gets very stressed when he's caged. Luckily we've realized that he's a perfect gentleman when left alone in the house and has never been destructive. Wilbur would be a great fit for a quiet family or individual who just wants a buddy to hang out with.
He’d be happiest with another calm dog but he's pretty darn tolerant. He just gets annoyed sometimes with another dog who is jumping all over him and pulling his ears, etc. But a lot of the time he wants to play too! He just has his limits… but then again don’t we all!
And he always has one ear up and one ear down- quite adorable; he always looks like he is asking a question and curious about everything you are doing
CAN NOT be crated to date, he does not tolerate it and destroys it
